The World Energy Crisis Commeth

By: Lance Winslow

It appears that with China and India rapidly growing their industrial capacity and their economies we will see that does 1.3 billion people in China and over one billion people in India will need more and more of the world's resources. They will need coal, copper, aluminum, iron ore, oil, natural gas and just about every single thing an industrial world needs to the power of 10.

Remember how much the United States uses in energy and it only has 300 million people. China is over four times that size and as all those people enter the middle class they will need unbelievable amounts of energy in their civilization. India with one billion people is over three times the size of the United States in population and their middle class is growing even more rapidly than China and they need all sorts of industrial resources.

With a greater demand for world energy products and natural resources we will see a coming world crisis and increases in prices like we have never seen before. This of course will add to the price of everything that we buy and even though our energy costs are very low in the United States of America they will also hike upwards. Luckily, we will still have the advantage there.

One positive thing for the United States of America is we can put many more of our mines back to work with robotic systems to collect the natural resources. Fortunately, the United States has been working on cleaner ways to remain environmentally friendly in the mining industry.

The United States of America has an abundance of raw materials and perhaps in the future we may be able to export raw materials and energy resources to the rest of the world. Nevertheless the world energy crisis is coming and we can expect to pay much more for the things that we buy and the energy that we use. Please consider all this in 2006.
