There Is No Substitute For Effort

There is no substitute for hard work. Yes, it is important to work smart, but let me assure you there is no substitute for sweat. Effort can take many forms in Network Marketing. It can be late nights recruiting or long weekends at meetings or inspirational rallies. Regardless of the form your effort takes, sooner or later if you develop a consistent work style or pattern, your efforts will be rewarded.

One of the unfortunate myths today is that you and I can get rich without a lot of time, hard work and patience. Not so. Oh yes, some people may appear to achieve greatness quickly, but I believe it is better to build your future on a solid foundation of effort than quick good fortune, whatever the cause or source.

Only you can decide the price in effort you are willing to pay. Sometimes it is necessary to sacrifice short-term pleasures: time with family, vacations, relaxation time or weekend jaunts. If you are going to build a successful business, during your first five years you will have to give it every spare minute you have. Once you have achieved a certain level of success you may want to slow down to some degree, but this also must be a conscious choice made for the right reason.

Don’t waste your time looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Just move one day at a time in the direction of your dreams, and, before you know it, you will be further down the path to success than you ever dreamed.
