The human body is an incredible work of art. There are so many things that work together to make the body work in a way that many of us take for granted.

Consider these two-dozen statements about the human body.

Cells and Nerves

The adult body contains over 50 trillion cells.

The nerve cell is the longest cell in the body.

Each brain cell communicates with 25,000 other brain cells.

The outer surface of each hair is coated with dead cells to protect the hair?

Blood cells are made in the soft inner part of long bones. This is called marrow.

The left side of the brain control controls logic and speech while the right side is in charge of creative thinking.

Each of the unique qualities listed above add to the quality and length of life. Imagine the inner workings of your body much like a professional orchestra. Each part of your body is skillfully arranged to work with all the other unique features. Your eyes blink to keep the eyeball moist and clean so it can continue to see. The brain sends thousands of orders each day causing your body to perform the ordered functions.

To follow up with the orchestra analogy when one body part suffers the entire body is out of tune. The body is interdependent on all the other parts to function efficiently.

Perhaps the human body looks designed because it is designed.
