Traffic Building - Using Articles to Supercharge Your Traffic

Traffic building is one of those things that when you first get started online, you just don’t get. I know I didn’t. I bought traffic and tried crazy schemes like traffic exchanges and surf exchanges and on and on. And I got hits. But no real traffic.

What is traffic? Traffic is when someone comes to your web site looking for something - preferably something of the sort that you offer. Some people would call that targeted traffic. I just call it traffic. I mean, come on, if it isn’t targeted, what is it anyway? It is no good to me, so why call it traffic?

So where do articles come in?

For me, articles (I have submitted over 250 to ezinearticles at the time of this writing [10-19-2006]) create some of the very strongest, prequalified traffic in the entire world.

Why? Because they do not come to my web site until they have read something I have written, think enough of what I had to say to click into my web page, and are obviously looking for something I provide, or they wouldn’t have been reading my article.

To use articles to supercharge your traffic, you must write a lot of articles. One or two won’t do. Write hundreds. Get lots of traffic.

Then submit the articles to the highest traffic online article directories you can find. People will read them and click through to your pages. BTW, if you have submitted a few, and have not had great results, do not quit. 1) It gets easier with practice. 2) I believe there is an exponential effect to writing many articles.
