Traffic Building Secrets

I broke Alexa top 100,000 today!

That is exciting to me. For some of you who are in the top 10,000, that may not be exciting, but for me, this rocks!

I started my website 9 weeks ago, have 700 subscribers now and today show a traffic ranking of 95,620 in Alexa.

So how did I do it?

My top traffic secrets:

1) I write and post alot of articles. I have written around 150 articles in the last 9 weeks.

2) I use Google Adwords discriminately. Why do I say discriminately? Because I have wasted a lot of money on Adwords. But now I have Adwords paying for itself---once a visitor opt ins from Adwords, they are redirected to a sales page for one of my products---and that pays for my Adwords campaign.

3) I have developed success with safe lists. My current safe list campaign is averaging a 6.6% conversion rate to subscribers. Sure, that is less than the 44% conversion rate I get from article traffic---but 6.6% is extremely high for safe lists.

4) I offer free stuff to my subscribers. My subscribers love to get free ebooks and information--- and when I send them to my free download pages, they build my traffic rankings.
