I learned something early on in my studies of the metaphysical world. In meeting other readers, I found that no two gather, interpret or understand information in the same way.

Being an individual carries its unique qualities to all points of a persons life, including when that person is a psychic or other form of reader. The way they learned history, or art. The insights they had when they understood the true meaning of love. How they were shocked and impaired, as all people are, when they first understood death. All of these things color a persons vision in life, and it is just as true for any reader.

When information is presented to a psychic, it may come in so many different formats it sometimes becomes difficult to comprehend. For instance, when someone asks about their current relationship and how it is going, a reader might get several different pieces of information. First, they might have a mental picture of the other person in the relationship pop into mind. This might be very similar to being introduced for the first time. Then the scene might flash to the couple sitting down to have dinner somewhere, perhaps a candle lit setting. A sense of time comes along with this scene, and the reader feels it has not happened yet and relaying that information along to the person asking.

Then the reader might be shown the outside of a home, and a distinctive smell of cooking, like peanut butter cookies. As they relay this insight, it turns out the home and cooking were of the persons grandmother, and they tell the reader they just introduced the man to her. The reader might then have a warm feeling, and knows from prior experience that this is a positive note, and relays that information as well. The person asking the question confirms that the grandmother did in fact say she liked him.

Then the person inquires if they will get married. The reader suddenly has a mental image of seeing the back of the couple while walking down the isle and out of the church. This information is also conveyed, and the person knows this is a very possible outcome. Why? The previous items: the candle dinner, conformation with the grandmother. Those were to help pave the way for a true understanding in order to let both the reader, and the person asking, that the insights are valid and true.

Another reader, in this same setting and reading, might have seen the outside of the diner building, or watched as they left the table after the meal. They might have witnessed the man in question while at work, which helps validate the gentlemen. The insights into the grandmothers house may have been different also, relaying information about a comfortable chair or end table. Any of these would help to serve as validation points for both reader and questioner. When asked about marriage, they may have a mental image of the couple while riding in a limo and drinking champaign.

As you can see, the basics of the reading are the same while the insights into the information differ greatly. Again, I have not come across two readers in any format who perceive the information in the same way. There is nothing wrong with this. It simply goes to show how much difference there is between any two individuals.

You might say toe-may-toe, I might say toe-matt-toe, but in the end, we both realize that it makes wonderful pizza sauce.
