Clinical studies show that people with high cholesterol triglyceride are more prone to heart disease. So why don't you hear about triglyceride instead of just HDL and LDL cholesterol. The reason is that there aren't any drugs that can lower cholesterol triglyceride, so doctors don't often discuss this part of the cholesterol picture.So to reduce your susceptibility for heart disease, you need to reduce your cholesterol triglyceride.
