There is an interesting problem that can be seen in Law Enforcement and it is a normal psychological thing that would occur in that line of work and so it should not shock anyone. Let me explain. You see policemen and law enforcement has to deal with the scum of the Earth and after you deal with enough low-lives you begin to see the truth about human nature. Now that is not to say that policemen are by any means the epitome of ethical displacement, but rather they are indeed a cut above their clientele you might say.It seems too often that cops, detectives and most all law enforcement are completely out of line to assume everyone they meet fits some significant profile and is therefore a criminal and they merely have to try to find out what kind of criminal they are in order to bust them for something. This is a very dangerous trend of what could easily become a police state. This attitude and way of thinking does not belong in America and perhaps we need to check the police and other law enforcement for paranoia.So, really who is more Paranoid the Cops or the Criminals? The criminals who are good at it one would suppose are very calm, cool and collected, as they are well practiced, whereas the common citizens are not calm, cool or collected when being harassed by 105 IQ or less law enforcement officers, because they know that the cops themselves are questionable in their own personal lives.The average citizen realizes that when a police contact is made that they are a target and therefore when the citizen sees a cop they do no trust them, but they shouldn’t because the cops do not trust the citizens and are just looking for some excuse to cause them a problem. We have run away paranoia and it is getting worse and something needs to be done.
