Why You Have To Have a Squeeze Page for Your Landing Page

First of all what is a squeeze page? A squeeze page is a webpage that is designed specifically and only to give visitors an opportunity to opt in to your website. What is a landing page? A landing page is the first page that a visitor gets to when they get to your website.

So what I am saying is that for that landing page, you must have a squeeze page, if you intend to build a big list. Why? If you do not have a squeeze page, if you give people multiple choices on the landing page. They generally will not make any choice if you give them one choice. Most of the time they will take that choice if the offer associate that choice is compelling of course.

By using a squeeze page and by making sure that that squeeze page has only one option, the option to opt in to your e-mail list. You will be able to build your list quickly and easily.

Now having said that, you must drive qualified traffic to your Web page, your landing page, your squeeze page. Where do you get qualified traffic? My most highly qualified traffic is the traffic I receive from people who've read one of my articles.

All of that said, ones that traffic gets to your webpage, to your landing page, they must encounter a squeeze page and only has one option -- that they opt in to your e-mail list. One last thing, you must have a compelling offer -- something of interest to them, that they can download immediately.
