  • Islam's War Lords  By : Dennis Siluk
How have you fed your people, do they lie?
    They cry: “Peace! Peace!”
And you know it will not be!
For now the desert dragons take the skies,
Yet pale and cursed a worried world flies.
    Ten thousand’s echo your decree,
To whom you wish to bend their knees—
And lift their souls unto your loveless eyes
This is hell’s work as is, in the name of Islam
You hold death’s sword up high, as you diktat:
Your conspirant Lord bleeds nations by and by.

  • Atheist Movement Cluttered in Message Due to Homosexuals  By : Lance Winslow
The atheist movement in the United States is dying and many believe this is because the Christian movement is so strong. Some of these groups include the homosexuals who have been outcast by the Church and are looking for unity and organizations to spread their cause.
  • June 6, 2006 = 666 Are You Ready?  By : Lance Winslow
Everyone knows that 666 is the sign of the devil and a day which represents this number is approaching fast. Will the first hurricane of 2006 Atlantic tropical hurricane season named Albert do be the devil? Will there be a war with Iran on June 6th, 2006? The truth is nobody knows, but something will happen on 666 or June 6, 2006.

Beliefs are a very personal thing, and can be quite hard to define. Even stranger, many of them are incorrect, or slightly off base. Hopefully I can help clear up some misconceptions.

Christians and non-Christians alike can benefit from the lesson of Easter. When Jesus rose from the dead, He proved His teachings were practical; the proof of the pudding, so to speak. This is why Easter is the most important holiday in the Christian religion: It is the recognition and celebration of the Christian Messiah overcoming all the "obstacles" to Truth. The resurrection was the culminating act of an incredible life.

  • Zarqawi Is Dead, Will It Help?  By : Tim Tuohy
Radical fundamentalists have been the boon of religions from the outset; one only needs to remember the Inquisition and the Crusades to understand that Islam is not the first religion that has allowed a few to go bad. However, of late I have been doing some research on the prophet Mohammed, if one wants to call him such, and I am becoming more confused as I go.

  • The Watchtower Society  By : Anthony Smith
The Watchtower Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons)

  • The Latter Day Saints, Saints or Sinners?  By : Anthony Smith
    A commentary.

This is my personal view of many types of Misunderstandings about God, Jesus and The Holy Bible. This is the first of a series of Churches teaching False Doctrine.
Many Scriptures are so misunderstood and taught, that many still have a difficulty in knowing what, if anything, to believe in. This is just a short comparison of the Bible and the teachings of the Latter Day Saints.
My intent is to just show the difference.
2Jo 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Doctrine; “Instruction and confirmation in the truths of the gospel.”
The Book of Mormon is a doctrine, because it is taught as being true and a supplement to the Bible. 2Jo 1:10-11; If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Clark gives a very interesting view of other doctrine. When ever a new doctrine is added to the existing Gospel, it becomes a transgression of the Gospel.

  • A Matter Of Consideration  By : Alexander Coppedge
Our world has accomplished endeavors/wonders to aid our existence in the life. These efforts commended for the dedicated research and exploration into the unknowns. All said we are faced with uncertainties about the created existence. Our reality awareness of this existence under the deceit never comes to God thought of the creation. The existence awareness we mold and structure define our view outside the given fact of God.

  • The 'Real' War  By : Tim Tuohy
I suppose it is the fate of a writer to be awake in the middle of the night when the muse hits him and demands his attention at the keyboard. What is amazing is that so much quality work is turned out in the hours when every one else is asleep. (I don’t presume to count my own work in that group!) I sit here striving to find the words to convey a thought and to do so in such a manner as would give a complete understanding to the reader. Every writer knows that there is little chance that the article you write will be understood completely in the spirit in which it was written let alone that the thought will be truly and completely transmitted.
  • My God, My God, Where Are You?  By : Patricia Nordman
Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it" (Genesis 28:16).

How easy it is to forget that God is in this place, right where we are, especially if we are discontented where we are. The Almighty God can be found in the most illogical places. Why not, for He is omnipresent. When we least feel His presence, that is when He is most likely to be with us. Even Jesus thought His Father had deserted Him and cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34, Psalm 22:
  • The Evidence that God Exists  By : Andy Carloff
"...the Holy Inquisition selected with extreme care the freest and boldest men in order to burn or imprison them. In Spain alone some of the best men- those who doubted and questioned, and without doubting there can be no progress- were eliminated during three centuries at the rate of a thousand a year. The evil which the Catholic Church has thus effected is incalculable..."
  • The Holy Spirit Is Our Guide  By : Terry Weber
You have probably heard it said the Holy Spirit is like a cloud; a fog; a ghost or even a wind. As we all know, it is as hard to explain what or who the Holy Spirit is as it is to explain what wind is. Obviously, the wind is something we cannot see, But, we can feel the wind so that leads us to try to explain it by talking about the effects of the wind and what it does all around us.

  • Can An Atheist Believe In God?  By : Steven Gillman
What makes an atheist? Is he or she one who says "God absolutely does not exist"? Certainly most atheists I know wouldn't say that. Unfortunately, like most religious people, most dictionaries misrepresent atheism, with definitions like "Denial of the existence of God."

  • God and the Gays: All that Glitters isn't Gold (Part 2)  By : David Ben-Ariel
The gay bar scene or high risk promiscuous sex... Is it so happy-go-lucky? Something so sweet and wonderful we'd "wish you were here?" Or is it actually something you wouldn't wish upon your worst enemy? Is it simply a matter of being well-adjusted? Or resigned? What's so gay about it all anyway? Who ever dreamed up that label? What about truth in advertising? Some want their money back

  • God and the Gays: Make Up Your Mind (Part 6)  By : David Ben-Ariel
All these things [trials, temptations, tribulations] are wonderful opportunities to confirm or deny our commitment to Christ. It's a chance to defy temptation and stand up for what's right - despite peer pressure (Mat. 10:32-33).
  • God and the Gays: Of Vice and Men (Part 4)  By : David Ben-Ariel
Why do we do the things we do? Who hasn't asked themselves that question at one time or another? Must we remain creatures of habit? Is there "No Way Out?" Even the apostle Paul wrestled with this problem, but he came to the happy conclusion that we can overcome all in Christ (Rom. 7:14-25; Philip. 4:13
  • God and the Gays: Once Gay, Always Gay? (Part 3)  By : David Ben-Ariel

  • How To Choose The Right Bible  By : Robert Crutchfield
Given that the bible used by most protestant denominations contain the same books, you would think your choices would come down to what kind of cover. Unfortunately choosing the right bible for your needs is a bit more complicated than that. First you much consider the issue of translation. I also want to give you a run down on different types of bibles and their uses. However most types are available in a variety of translations so we will tackle that first.
  • The Nature of Power  By : Anu Singh
The nature of power is a much-misunderstood subject. One reason for misunderstanding is that there are two kinds of power-political and spiritual. Religious mythology takes pains to draw the distinction between the two.

  • Born Again and Heaven and Hell  By : David Ben-Ariel
If you're not born again before you die, you'll spend eternity in hell.

Who hasn't heard that "sermon" or something like it before? That one statement contains four religious lies and proves such a preacher apparently doesn't know God, Jesus Christ or the Bible well enough to know differently!
  • Why Does God Need a Gender?  By : Olga Moe

  • Confession of Sins - Part 3  By : Ken Lawson
Guilt is a killer, a killer of our joy, our peace, and our enjoyment of intimacy with God. If Satan can use guilt (which our Lord has already taken away) to use as a wedge to separate us from God, his strategy to take us as a captive in the battle is secure.

  • Metaphysical Christianity  By : Olga Moe
Mention the word “metaphysical” around a Christian fundamentalist and you will be met with a suspicious glare. That kind of talk is not found in the bible. It is modern, it is science, it is secular, it is witchcraft, it is New Age and it is a threat. I ask you however, what part of the bible is not metaphysical?
  • Religion Kills But Love Heals  By : Christy M
I suppose religion is one of the worst discoveries of mankind. Had it not been for religion, I hope there would have prevailed better sense and love. It’s amazing to see the huge number of people killed in the name of religion. I truly oppose any sort of human killing.
  • Salvation of the Professing Christians  By : Sustines Laplana
The way of salvation that professing Christians, like Born Again Christians, knew is too easy to do. According to them, by just accepting Christ as personal savior is enough for us to be saved on Judgment Day. This pronouncement is backed them up with the John 3:16 verse of the Bible which says:
  • Necro-Evangelism-When Dead Men Do Tell Tales  By : Dennis Diehl
There is a phenomenon in evangelism that is quite strange to me. I call it Necro-Evangelism and it is where local or even national radio evangelical and fundamentalist churches continue to play the sermons of long dead founders to convert the masses. There are at least three major churches in my area and one I know of nationally that practices Necro-Evangelism and I'd like to explore the pitfalls of this if I might.
