- Laugh Yourself Well
What happens to us physiologically when we laugh and smile. Is there a difference if you make yourself smile opposed to having a genuine smile? You'll be surprised to find out research shows that you can have the same physiological benefit even if you force yourself to keep a smile on your face. - Keeping the Connection
When we have a problem we may have people give us Scriptures to help us through the difficulty and many times, their words just remind us that we've heard that Word before. It's like we are looking for something new and different. An easier answer! But it all goes back to trusting and believing. We have to make sure our ears do not become dull to God's Word. - Keep Climbing
God wins His greatest victories through apparent defeats. Often you may think that our enemy triumphs, but there's a moment when God enters in and upsets the work of the devil, overthrowing the apparent victory, as the Bible says, "He frustrates the ways of the wicked." - Joy & Health
We were created to have joy. Many times we get ourselves into health problems trying to meet everybody's expectations. We live in a society that has high demands on us in all areas of our lives. Our youth are suffering from diseases that used to be categorized for the elderly. It's so easy not to match up to what the world says we should be. - In the Dark
Have you ever experienced a sorrow so devastating that you felt you were enveloped by heavy, thick, dark clouds? A dreadful darkness that makes God's perfect love seem gone forever, with His grace to bear all things cast into a sea of despair and hopelessness? - Imprint of the Creator
How many times have you spoken against your own flesh? With rheumatoid arthritis, I sometimes get out of bed in the morning feeling like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. It takes some oil to get me moving. Oil of joy is the best I've found to apply to it. It would be so easy to grumble about the stiffness and speak against this body and flesh. - Imagine That
I've always been a wild horse. Rebellious, stubborn and full of pride. It had to be my way as a child. Those of us who are wild horses take a lot more bumps and bruises in life to get the real message. It takes a lot for us hard-headed folks to break we tend to find our way around bad circumstances and keep on plowing through even if we do so in misery. - Get Rid of the Hounder
The devil is a "dripper" in your life. He comes to you while you are awake or asleep and continually drips evil tidings on your soul. He speaks things into your ear day and night and if you don't take those thoughts captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) you begin to believe them and then you begin to make decisions based on them and then you build your life around those lies and eventually you call them truth. - Hope Has Healing Power
Our outlook on life can determine life or death for us according to the research. In my own life, I know my optimistic attitude has allowed me to fare much better than many with the same health problems. - The Honey of God's Word
The Bible says, "Be anxious for nothing," and it’s a command, but I never looked at it as sin since it seems everybody does it. In reality, there are great rewards for those who obey. - The Healing Process
There's a correlation between thoughts and pain. God told us to think on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy and gave us a promise for doing it. - The Grace We've Been Given
I thought God was supposed to fight all my battles for me. I didn't want to use grace, strength and power I received from Jesus as my Savior. I simply wanted my "Heavenly Daddy" to do it all for me. - A Merry Heath Does Good Like A Medicine
The body produces it's own disease fighting chemicals. God created us "fearfully and wonderfully." When we're joyful, our body secretes two types of chemicals that fight cancer and other diseases. - When Forgiveness Doesn't Work
The importance of forgiveness is now being recognized in the medical world and many techniques are provided. What if the sting is still there? How do you get beyond what "somebody did." - Is Fear Sin
One step I've taken on my journey to wellness is to write down Scriptures that relate to my health problems (fear, abandonment, anxiety, etc.) so that I can renew my mind one cell (mene) at a time. - What Does The Word Father Mean To You
It doesn't take us long to see that God isn't going to be side-tracked by our nearsighted requests. We are made to conquer and accept the victory that Christ gave us with the sword of His Word. - God's Gifts
The desired end of man on earth isn't happiness or health, but holiness. The Atonement put us back into perfect union with God. Do we long to know God our Creator, or do we just want His blessings? - Getting Peace
God's promises are true, but sometimes we have a part in applying them to our lives. We may accept a promise or not by the way we think. Jesus told us to believe. Finding peace is in believing Truth. - A Gentle Answer
What power the tongue has in our life. "A fool's mouth is his undoing, and his lips are a snare to his soul." How do you avoid people who set the space around you on fire with their tongues? - Faith Waiting
We have such finite human minds and yet we expect to understand the omnipotence of God in our lives, and sadly, when we do not, many of us turn away hurt and angry that life didn't go our way. - Jairus' Daughter And Kitty Girl
Is there a time in your life when you saw faith work? Jairus believed and trusted in Jesus power and authority, and his daughter was made well. How do we harness that faith in our own lives? - Every Drop For Good
There are events in our lives that don't seem to be justified. We do good, give, do our best to walk in the fruits of the Spirit, and yet we go through periods of our lives that just don't seem fair. - Emotions And Disease
Medical research says 75%-85% of all disease is stress-related. Wouldn’t that make most diseases emotionally rooted? If God tells us "be anxious for nothing," what happens when we are? - Allergies, Bugs, Chemicals And The Immune System
Could allergies come from the way we think? Why do some people react to foods and chemicals when most people do not? Is there some personality profile or truth that will change our health? - Believe It Can Be Different
Poor health is discouraging. It takes your dreams and twists them up. It seems there's no hope left for dreams, when in reality, it's your dreams that will take you out of illness and disease. - Life Is In The "Being" - Not In The "Doing"
Never have enough time? Running from task to task? Desiring to scream, "Stop! I wanna get off!" Driven people usually believe it's people around them that require their busyness, but it’s not true. - Anxious About Nothing
Our world has become a place of fear. God says, "Fear Not!" Can we can control our daily lives and future by making choices based on fear? God says He will take care of us. We are to trust in Him. - Psalm 91 Protection
When lightning struck our home rendering the phone dead and an attic fire, my husband ran for the attic. Not being able to call 911, I called Psalm 91. What happened that day continues to amaze me. - Command Me
In Isaiah the Lord says, "Concerning the work of My hands command ye Me." (Is. 45:11). There are many times in the Bible that men took Him at His word and commanded Him. Walk in their footsteps. - A Different Kind of Christmas
Have a Christmas without the stress, hurry and worry. Make the switch with family and friends sharing the excitement. You'll then have time for what you want Christmas to be in your house. - Breaking Free From Debt
Our focus needs to get out of stuff and on to people. Less can truly be more. Getting debt-free is going to make a critical difference in our upcoming economy. You can do it! - Freedom From Fear
I used fear bugs. Living in the woods provides many opportunities to overcome such a fear, but only the power of the Holy Spirit applying Christ's victory on the cross to everyday life will do the job. - Instant Obedience
Each time God calls upon us to do something, He is offering to make a covenant with us. Our part is to obey. Postponed obedience can never bring us the full blessing God intended. - Trusting in Him
Believing changes our course of life and the course of those we are believe for. Faith and belief have their place, so how do we change our hearts and minds so that we truly believe? - Adversity
From our perspective of life and living in this flesh, adversity is not a happy thing. We have to realize that this is a training ground. We are being prepared for Heaven.
