Social Dispute - The Death Penalty If someone murdered a member of my family or a close friend, I would wish that person to receive the death penalty. Throughout the world in major sports famous sports men and women are revered by their fans. A not insignificant portion of the fan base is made up of children. These not only idolize their favorite sports men and women, but also they copy what they do. American Pilots Should Be Tried For Manslaughter So the American government and other American military officials have admitted that they have a video of the death of a British soldier in Iraq due to friendly fire. This so called "blue on blue" attack led to the death of at least one British soldier and the injury of several others. The aircraft involved were active in a position where friendly forces were moving and yet the message that they were did not seem to filter through. Teaching In Schools School curricula change all the time. I feel it is time to ask if we are really equipping our children with skills for life or just pushing them towards a further education career they neither want or need? Political Correctness Gone Mad: Part 2 We are swamped with political correctness. A "spotted dick" is just a dessert, a "blackboard" is an item teachers write on. But people want words like these, and others, banned. Political Correctness Gone Mad: Part 1 I can’t buy Spotted Dick any more. It’s offensive, they say. Don’t know why, as it contains dead animal produce, which apparently is not offensive, E numbers that don’t offend, grease, lard, currants. Especially currants. Can currants really offend me. Time to Declare an End in Iraq It's time for us to leave Iraq. They don't want us there and we don't really want to be there. Let us not forget also that war has not been declared, and never will be. Iraq: Return Home Now Why are we there, anyway? According to our woeful Government, we were 'invited' to attend the party, to 'liberate' the people. Has this had any lasting gratitude from the people there, or is it time to rein in the less-than-enthusiastic Western Armies and head home? Annoyed at the Iraq War I am getting increasingly annoyed with the war in Iraq. What is it all for? Are we getting anywhere? The only thing that seems to be coming out of this war is suffering - innocent civilians and British and American soldiers.
