- Winter Solstice at Newgrange
Newgrange in County Meath in Ireland is the location for one of the most spectacular passage tombs in the world. The five thousand year old passage and chamber inside the ancient mound at Newgrange are illuminated by the winter solstice sunrise. A shaft of sunlight shines through the roofbox over the entrance and penetrates the passage to light up the chamber. The dramatic event lasts for 17 minutes at dawn from the 19th to the 23rd of December. - True Love
Human beings experience love in direct proportion to their level of consciousness. True love is our natural state. True love imposes nothing on another, and in turn requires nothing but merely delights in the uniqueness of each being. Freedom is always an essential ingredient of true love. - Spiritual Healing
Spiritual healing is the oldest type of healing known to humanity. There has always been some form of spiritual healing available in all tribes and societies: our own Druid tradition of healing and spirituality, the North American Medicine man, the wise men and women who occupied a special place in every tribe, helping to heal the sick through the power of the spirit, and to guide the tribe in times of crises, and in matters of life and death. Due to many people's disillusionment with traditional religions there has been a huge upsurge in interest in the whole area of spirituality in recent years. - Sex Therapy
In today's prevailing culture, there is a myth that sex is the most incredible experience for the vast majority of people and that is why sex with anyone, anywhere at anytime is always going to be a blissful, orgasmic experience. This myth is continually being sold to us, particularly in the cinema where sex is portrayed as an earth-shattering experience even when the two people having intercourse have only met a few minutes previously. - Meaning In Everyday Life
Let us begin on our journey into meaning. I wonder what you are doing right now. What are you feeling and thinking? What preoccupies you? What is it that you would love to change here, today? What do you dream of becoming? What is it that you yearn to achieve, to create? - Light Meditation
Meditation and visualization stem from an ancient tradition that advocates the inward journey to increase awareness and bring about deep healing. Meditation is used to help develop an awareness of the energy and stillness that is at the core of your being. This light meditation is particularly suited to being practiced in the early morning before rising and in the late evening before retiring. - Compulsive Shopping
People engage in compulsive buying or spending on occasion, particularly at Christmastime when they get caught up in the excitement or pressure of buying. While most people keep their spending under control, some may develop a more serious problem. They buy far more than they need and most of it they will never use. It sometimes results in thousands of euros of debt. This is called oniomania, or compulsive shopping. - Colour Healing: Bringing More Gold into Your Life
Gold derives from yellow and is the colour of wisdom. It is the colour of old souls and sages, of protection and deep healing for past wounds which still linger and need special healing. Gold signifies the highest spiritual colour. - Art Therapy
Art therapy provides the opportunity for insight, self-expression and communication, within a safe therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. It can take place in one-to-one settings, or in groups. It is frequently used in educational settings, in psychiatric wards, in art psychotherapy, in self-development groups, in nursing homes, in rehabilitation programs, in prisons, and in many other settings. Art therapy can provide a fascinating pathway to the unconscious world of every person. - Are You Being Bullied or Hasassed at Work?
It is a common experience for workers who are being systematically bullied to feel demeaned, inadequate, and deeply distressed. Many feel too embarrassed and ashamed to talk about what is going on in their work place. This is especially true for men, who find it very difficult to admit that they are being bullied, particularly if they work in a "macho" environment. This fear of losing face for reporting bullying is even more pronounced when a man is being bullied by a female.
