- Whosoever
Whosoever is used throughout the New Testament 93 times, and implies anyone and everyone. You are an anyone, I am an anyone, it is an all-inclusive term, and leaves no one out. Anyone and everyone that hears come. Anyone and everyone that thirsts come. Anyone and everyone that wants can take of the water of life freely - What Is Persecution
Jesus said persecutions arises because of the Word. When you hear the Word of God, Satan immediately comes to steal the Word from your heart - What Are You Worth?
What do you mean what am I worth? Are you talking about my net worth? How much money do I have in the bank? Or how many stock certificates I own, or how many mutual funds, or how much is in my IRA or 401k? No, to all of these. No, I am asking you if you know what you are worth to God - The Law Of Sowing And Reaping Pt. 3
In the first 2 parts of this study we defined sowing and the purpose of the seed, as well as the purpose of the harvest. In the third part of this study I would like to talk about obedience in giving and how God supernaturally increases our seed. Let's start again with the words of Jesus - The Law of Sowing and Reaping Pt. 2
In pt.1 of this study we primarily discussed the law of sowing. We talked about the seed and how God ordained seed to have life in itself from the very beginning starting in the book of Genesis. In this study I want to look at and focus in on reaping. There is much said in God's Word on this subject. God is a giver of the highest magnitude and wants His children to be givers as well - The Law of Sowing and Reaping Pt.1
The Living Bible says it so simply, a man will always reap just the kind of crop he sows. The analogy here of spiritual sowing is being compared to sowing seed for a crop. This is not so hard for farmers or gardeners to understand. - Run, Walk, Stand
Waiting is not idly setting around. No, waiting is an active verb, like a waiter or waitress waiting on tables. It also means to remain in a constant state of readiness, confident in your expectation. Waiting is also the working out of hope. Or you might say it like this , waiting is the working out of our expectation, confident in our hope unto the end. We should all have this confident expectancy in our walk with the Lord - The Salvation of the Soul
Is it important for us to know the differences between the spirit and the soul to have a prosperous soul as the Apostle John is saying. I believe it is critical for us to understand the difference. I believe it is vital in order to know when we are receiving something from God and when it is just our flesh. I know God is a spirit and that He always communicates with our born again spirit, not our flesh, or mind or soul. I believe it begins with the Word of God, as the writer of Hebrews says. We have to start here. The Word of God is a divider of spirit and soul - The Truth
Have you ever stopped to consider that without absolute truth we could have not have absolute confidence? You might be saying what do you mean. I mean that if we could not have absolute assurance in something, then we could have not have confident expectation of that which we are wanting to see come to pass - Jesus our Jubilee
This is the time of year as we enjoy the Christmas season, we celebrate the birth of our Savior, but we mustn't lose sight of the reason for His coming. He came to restore mankind to the Father. He came to destroy the works of the devil. He came to give life, and give it more abundantly. He came to give us eternal life. He came to forgive us our debts. 1Jn:3:8, Jn:10:10. With this in mind, let's look at what Jesus said about Himself, as He read from the Prophet Isaiah. - Exceeding Great Joy
This is definitely the time of year to celebrate and remember the birth of our Lord and Savior. If you read the Gospel accounts of the wise men, you will see that they traveled a very long distance to get to their final destination, their whole purpose was to find the Christ Child Jesus. They had exceeding great joy - Redeemed from the Curse (pt. 3)
We have talked about the curse of the law as described in the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy. However the first curse that came upon man was the curse of spiritual death. Genesis 2:17. "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die'' - Redeemed From The Curse Pt. 2
In the first part of this article we talked about the curse of the law and specifically what it is. Refer to Deuteronomy the 28th chapter, and we see specifically that the curse of the law was many fold, and included disease of every kind, financial ruin, destruction of your family, lack of peace or mental illness, we can see clearly that the curse of the law included every disease known and every disease that there was, whether recorded in the Book or not - Redeemed From The Curse! Pt. 1
If you asked most Christians if Jesus redeemed them, they would say yes. If you asked them what they were redeemed from, they would most likely say they were redeemed from sin. The Word of God tells us Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. I would like to ask the question, did you know the law has a curse, and that you have been redeemed from it - Knowing (Part 2)
Jesus is called the only begotton son in the Gospels. After the Gospels, He is called the 1st born. He is not the only begotton Son of God any more, He is the 1st born. That implies there is a 2nd born a 3rd born and so on down the line. - Knowing (Part 1)
In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he prayed two prayers for the Ephesian Church by the unction of the Holy Spirit, Paul was the man God chose to reveal the greatest part of the New Covenant to. I believe Paul knew the correct way to pray for people. OK, let's look at the prayers. - Press On
I would like to start off by saying we have all fallen in life at different times. I know I have, however falling is not the same as failing. Because we may stumble and fall does not mean we are failures. - Long Life
I've heard people say that there is nothing in God's Word telling us we can live a long life, so that prompted this study. Although, this is not a comprehensive study, it shows God's desire for man. - Life
The one major defining difference between Christianity and any other religion you may want to think of, is that if you have acknowledged Jesus as Lord and confessed Him as your savior then you now have God’s life within you - Spiritual Hearing
Romans 10:17. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.The Word is telling us we have to hear before we believe. We often ask God for faith, but that is not what the Bible says. It comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God - Are You Blocking Your Blessings?
We all want to be blessed by God, we all want to be successful. Now! We want to be blessed by God, but sometimes we don't know, or want to do what we need to do to receive those blessings. We want it now. We want shortcuts, easy answers - "the quick fix" - Do You Have an Attitude?
God knows us totally and completely, nothing is hidden from Him. God looks at our heart and sees things that no one else sees. He knows what you are thinking and what motivates you, and these things do matter to Him. - God's Favor
Because we belong to God through Christ Jesus, we now have received God's favor. God is partial to us, because we are His children. He shows us His goodwill and friendly regard. - Forsake Not!
God by His Holy Spirit is saying through the writer of the book of Hebrews for us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This was said as a commandment. Our Father knows what happens when we get out of fellowship with other believers. I know of many cases where people let the cares of this world come first and then they quit coming to Christian services, and the next thing you know they just slid away from God. This is not God's will for us. He wants better for His children. - Love, Faith's Foundation
Faith is one of my favorite topics to teach. I have found that it is the very foundation to our relationship with God the Father. We can not have or sustain any kind of relationship without it. He said in His WordHebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.If we don't believe that He is, we will not come to Him nor seek Him. Because of this we will never receive the reward that diligent seeking provides. - Light, Life, Fellowship
Light is what God is. God is also life. God is also love. These are not just attributes of God, but who He is. This may be difficult for us to understand but the Word of God says this is so. When God reveals Himself, its always in light, life, and love. When you experience God's presence, its always uplifting, always edifying always full of light, it's never the opposite. If your experience with God is not edifying, or uplifting, or is not full of light and comfort, then you haven’t experienced true fellowship with the Father. - Children - God's Inheritance
The spirit of a child is created by God, born with the life of God in them. Their spirit is alive unto God up until the age of sin awareness, or an age of accountability, born without sin consciousness. God’s word tells us that God is the father of spirits. - A More Sure Word
Peter heard the audible voice of God on the holy mountain, yet he goes on to say, We also have the prophetic word made more sure. He's talking about the written Word of God, being more sure than the audible voice of God heard from the holy mountain. This is a more sure Word. Many people seek such things, signs and visible manifestations wanting to hear from God, when all you have to do is pick up your Bible and read it. - The Perfect Law of Liberty
There are many spiritual laws given to us in God's Word. Some people would say I've never heard of spiritual laws before. However as we read through the Word of God we will see that His Word is full of spiritual laws. These laws are absolutes in God's Word. They define not only the boundaries but the limitless of God's grace to His children. - Are You Walking in Love?
This is the evidence of love, because we love the brethren. Love is not an emotional feeling. Love is a person. God is love. God is moved by compassion but He is love. - Are You a New Creation?
Jesus died on the cross for you! He went to hell and defeated Satan for you! And in 3 days, the power of God raised Him from the dead as the first born of God. The first born again man, the first reborn man, the first new creation - Acknowledgement
The apostle Paul said that if we love God, we then are known by Him. The apostle John said if we love, we are born of God and know God. Loving God and knowing God go hand in hand. If you don’t love God, you can not know Him, and if you do not know Him you can not love Him. You might say well, I love God. But the Word tells us what loving God is. - Godly Expectation
Expectation is something we all need to have if we want to see God’s promises fulfilled. It is really another way of saying hope. When many think of hope they think along the lines of I hope I inherit a million dollars, or I hope I get that job that I applied for, or I hope it doesn’t rain tonight. This is worldly hope and not at all the kind of hope that the Bible talks about. Bible hope is confident expectation. - Fight The Good Fight Of Faith
1 Timothy 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
God’s Word tells us to fight the good fight of faith. We are called to be spiritual warriors in God’s kingdom. We are soldiers in the Army of God. - In His Presence
Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - The Peace that Keeps
Philippians 4:6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
