Like everyone, I encountered my share of problematic circumstances and obstacles. If it weren't for them, it would have been a piece of cake. But without them, life in a bubble would get lonely.

    The more I hear the term, the more I question if merely tolerating each other is truly the message we want to convey. I looked up the definition in the Webster’s Dictionary and found it meant: to put up with; to recognize and respect the opinions and rights of others; to endure; to suffer. I am convinced that only a portion of the definition really meets the criteria for true acceptance those who use the term are trying to imply.

    Last week, my wife and I had to make the most difficult decision a pet owner ever faces. Our loving companion for the last sixteen years was exhibiting behavior unlike any we had ever seen from him.
