- European Single Currency
This time we'll talk about European Union that involves a market with a single currency, a single Central Bank and a single monetary policy. There'll be discussed European single currency, Monetary, and Fiscal policies, and effect of EU innovations on European countries from the economic perspective. - The EURO
12 member countries of the European Union adopted the Euro in 1999. (Denmark, Sweden and UK are using their own currency only). Investors used to invest domestically mainly, but with the Euro introduction more investors are now attracted to euro areas. Euro is a floating exchange rate, therefore market demand and supply controls the value of the currency. As a result the market value of the Euro is the reflection of its real value.
