Why Do I Insist On Having My Own Business? I've had my own business with varying degrees of success for the better part of 15 years now and have to ask myself the question that's posed with the title of this article from time to time. Sometimes I wonder why I was born with the idea in my head that having a job and working for someone else is such a bad idea? Who Wants To Be An Entrepreneur Anyway? I've often wondered why I have this flame burning in me that simply refuses to go out. I used to try to put the fire out by drinking, but that didn't work, so I quit drinking. I have tried getting jobs on various occasions and having a boss is just too much for me. Having Your Own Business Many people say they want their own business, but have no idea what's involved in such an endeavor. Having your own business is nothing like having a job, and most peoples experience is with having a job and working for someone else.
